Robert J. DiQuollo, CFP®, CPA

As CEO, Robert DiQuollo plays a key role in the success of the firm and its ability to help clients achieve their personal wealth goals. Bob’s particular areas of expertise include financial planning, tax planning, and investment management. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner, a Certified Public Accountant and a Personal Financial Specialist (CPA/PFS). Bob is a member of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA), the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants. Prior to joining Brinton Eaton in 1988, Bob had nearly 20 years of experience as a tax specialist with local and national CPA firms. He is a former Director of Red Oak Bank, and a trustee of numerous private family foundations. Bob holds BS and MBA degrees from Seton Hall University.
Jerry A. Miccolis, CFA®, CFP®, FCAS, MAAA

Jerry Miccolis specializes in financial planning, risk management, investment research, and portfolio management. Jerry holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation, is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner, and is a fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS). He also is a member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA), the Financial Planning Association (FPA), and the New York Society of Security Analysts (NYSSA). Prior to joining Brinton Eaton in 2003, Jerry had over 30 years experience in the risk management and actuarial fields, including over 25 years with the international management consulting firm Towers Perrin, where he served as Principal and Global Practice Leader for the Enterprise Risk Management practice. He has chaired numerous professional committees and is a widely quoted author and speaker on the subject of strategic risk management. Jerry received a BS in Mathematics from Drexel University.
Colleen J. Betzler, CFP®, CSEP® 
Principal, Chief Operating Officer and Senior Financial Advisor
Colleen Betzler specializes in delivering a wide range of solutions related to financial planning, tax planning, estate planning and portfolio management. Colleen joined Brinton Eaton in 1998, prior to which she did design and research work in the biomedical engineering field. She is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner and a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA). Colleen holds a BLA degree from Ball State University and has completed the CFP® education program at Fairleigh Dickinson University. She also holds the Certified Specialist in Estate Planning® (CSEP®) designation.
Jeremy T. Welther, CFP®, AIF® 
Principal, Chief Compliance Officer and Senior Financial Advisor
Jeremy Welther specializes in financial planning, investment research, portfolio management, and tax planning. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner and a member of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA). He has also been awarded the Accredited Investment Fiduciary™ designation by the Center for Fiduciary Studies. Prior to joining Brinton Eaton in 1996, Jeremy performed municipal bond research for J. J. Kenny Company in New York. Jeremy holds a BS degree in Finance from Susquehanna University and has completed the CFP® education program at Fairleigh Dickinson University.
Michael S. Maglio 
Principal and Senior Financial Advisor
Mike Maglio provides financial, tax and investment advice to high-net-worth individuals, corporate executives and families. He specializes in integrating tax and financial planning to create long-term strategies for his clients. Mike has more than two decades of experience, which includes working in the private client services practices at international accounting firms. Prior to joining Brinton Eaton, Mike was a managing director at WTAS NJ. He holds a BA in Economics from Villanova University and an MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University. He serves on the board of trustees of the Community Foundation of NJ where he is the Chairman of the investment committee and treasurer. Mike is a former adjunct professor of Tax and Finance courses at Montclair State University.
Ellen Clawans, CFP®, CPA 
Financial Analyst
Ellen Clawans specializes in financial planning and tax planning. Prior to joining Brinton Eaton in 2004, she worked as an Audit and Tax Senior at Pricewaterhouse Coopers and at a local CPA firm. Ellen holds a BS degree in Accounting from Rutgers University. She is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner and Certified Public Accountant. Ellen is a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA), the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Marina Goodman, CFP® 
Investment Strategist
Marina Goodman specializes in investment analysis, portfolio management and tail risk hedging. Prior to joining Brinton Eaton in 2006, Marina was an actuarial associate for MetLife, where she evaluated investment strategies and developed financial models and Monte Carlo simulations for new products. Marina holds bachelor’s degrees in Mathematics and Economics from Cornell University. She is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner and has authored several articles for the Journal of Financial Planning.
David M. Hill, CFP® 
Financial Advisor
David Hill specializes in financial planning and tax planning. Prior to joining Brinton Eaton in 2006, Dave spent two years as a Client Relationship Manager at Morgan Stanley Dean Witter and seven years as a Defined Benefit Analyst at Mellon Financial Corporation. Dave holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Rutgers University. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner and a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA).
Abigail M. Rosen, CFP® 
Financial Advisor
Abigail Rosen specializes in financial planning and tax planning. Prior to joining Brinton Eaton in 2007, Abby worked as a Commodities Operations Manager at Barclays Capital and as a Surface Warfare Officer in the United States Navy. Abby has a master’s degree in financial planning from Bentley University and a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the College of the Holy Cross. She is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner.
Janet L. Critchley, CFP®, CPA, PFS 
Financial Analyst
Janet Critchley specializes in developing customized financial planning strategies. Janet has more than 25 years of industry experience. Prior to joining Brinton Eaton, Janet was a senior manager at KPMG and Eisner LLP, where she was responsible for tax compliance, planning, research, and the development and design of financial plans. She holds a BS degree in accounting from Upsala College and an M.S. in Taxation from Seton Hall University. She is a Certified Public Accountant, a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and has achieved the Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) designation. Janet is a member of the Financial Planning Association, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and New Jersey Society of CPAs.
Matthew DiQuollo, CFP® 
Financial Analyst
Matthew DiQuollo works closely with financial advisors in developing customized strategies to help clients achieve their personal financial goals. Matt has more than a decade of experience working in capital markets trading, both in brokerage and asset management. Prior to joining Brinton Eaton, he was a trader at Vardon Capital Management. He also worked on the trading desks of Fleet Bank and Bank of New York. Matt has a bachelor’s degree from Villanova University and holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation.
Christopher Mulrane 
Financial Analyst
Christopher Mulrane works on tax strategies and tax return preparation for the benefit of the firm’s clients. Prior to joining Brinton Eaton, Christopher worked for WTAS, one of the largest independent tax firms in the United States. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Rider University and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Taxation at Fairleigh Dickinson University.
Rohith Eggidi 
Investment Analyst
Rohith Eggidi coordinates quantitative analysis, asset allocation and risk-modeling projects. Prior to joining Brinton Eaton, Rohith was a quantitative analyst intern at OmniMarkets, where he coordinated several projects related to alternative asset valuation. He also has experience as a software engineer and developer at Samsung India Software Operations. Rohith holds a master’s degree in Operations Research from Columbia University and a bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering from the Indian School of Mines in Dhanbad, India. He is currently pursuing the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation.
Melissa Archuleta 
Assistant Director of Operations
Melissa Archuleta specializes in operations, accounting and technology management, and she works to ensure Brinton Eaton is utilizing the most advanced technology solutions in order to serve clients in the most efficient manner possible. She also works to streamline accounting and human resources functions to ensure the firm is running smoothly. Prior to joining Brinton Eaton, Melissa was Director of Operations at Kabrik Trading, a New York-based broker dealer. In that role, she managed firm-wide operations in accounting, information technology, compliance, human resources and back-office administrative functions. Melissa has a bachelor’s degree in finance from University of Colorado.
Andrea Astor-Sheehy 
Director of Marketing Communications
Andrea Astor-Sheehy is responsible for all public relations and marketing content for the firm. She has over 27 years’ experience in marketing communications and public relations, primarily in the financial services industry. Prior to joining Brinton Eaton, Andrea was a marketing editor and writer at J.H. Cohn LLP. Her prior experience also includes positions at HSBC, Merrill Lynch and Lehman Brothers. Andrea has a bachelor’s degree in Communications from Fordham University.
Adrian Fedorkiw
Investment Operations
Adrian Fedorkiw is responsible for processing trades firm-wide for all of Brinton Eaton’s financial advisors on behalf of the firm’s clients. In this role, he establishes and maintains all client accounts and manages multiple databases. He also serves as Brinton Eaton’s primary liaison to its third-party custodian, facilitates the firm’s quarterly reporting process and manages the transfer of funds into and out of client accounts in response to IRA distribution instructions and other cashiering requests. Prior to joining Brinton Eaton, Adrian spent ten years as a service advisor in the automotive industry.
Jonathan Katz
Investment Operations Analyst
Jonathan Katz assists with daily investment operations and works closely with the firm’s advisors and principals. Prior to joining the firm, Jonathan was a portfolio analytics intern at UBS Wealth Management where he conducted financial portfolio analysis and research in mortgage backed securities and master limited partnerships. He was also a trading intern at First New York Securities where he assisted with securities analysis, trading and operations. Jonathan graduated from Drew University, magna cum laude, with a bachelor of arts degree in economics and a concentration in finance. At Drew, Jonathan was initiated into Omicron Delta Epsilon – The International Honor Society in Economics and Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges.
Pamela Trunfio
Office Operations
Pamela Trunfio is responsible for providing administrative support to all departments within Brinton Eaton. She maintains the firm’s client database, including contracts and financial reports, and serves as the Brinton Eaton liaison for all external vendors. Pam is also responsible for inventory control and special client mailings. Pam has more than ten years of experience in office administration. Prior to joining Brinton Eaton, she was a freelance journalist and newspaper editor and provided administrative and customer relations support to companies in the medical, pharmaceutical and advertising fields.
Debra Wood
Office Operations
Debra Wood works closely with the entire team to ensure the professional and timely completion of essential administrative functions. Debbie completes paperwork on behalf of clients, monitors the in-house status of client tax returns, tracks and reports on media exposure, and prepares marketing materials and presentations. Debbie has more than two decades of experience in administration, office management and marketing. Prior to joining Brinton Eaton, Debbie worked as an office Manager and sales coordinator for Mercedes Benz and as a media coordinator for Lanmark Group, a marketing/advertising firm specializing in the medical and dental industries.
